Every day at Dustups Ranch is different, and this one was pretty special. Rich from North Carolina, a Team Dustups member, flew all the way out here for a week to build check dams. But what's amazing is that he spent months preparing—downloading our drone imagery, studying Google Earth, and designing his entire project before he even arrived.

Follow along as Rich shows me his system: 30+ check dams carefully placed to slow water flow, create mini forests, and connect vegetation throughout the ranch. He's using Pedro the lone yucca as his navigation point, and every dam is strategically placed to maximize water retention.

This episode captures the daily rhythm of ranch life: from voltage problems in the solar system that almost caused a fire, to cleaning up the earth tubes, to the endless small projects that keep everything running.
