(17th Birthday) EITA-Schneider MR [Tower MK2 Low Zone] @ Arte Mont Kiara, Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur

To celebrate the channel admin's 17th birthday, this is a revisit of a mixed-use development which had some amazing EITA-Schneider lifts.

Mont Kiara features many tall apartments and condos—especially this one. This development consists of three towers: 58-floor Tower 1, 66-floor Tower 2, and 60-floor Tower 3, along with an eight-level podium and four basements. Completed in 2020, its entire place boasts a French-artistic design decorated with mirrors, murals and chandeliers, making it an Instagrammable place. As was the case with most Arte properties, they chose EITA-Schneider for their lifts, using high-speed, gearless traction models. The first seven floors are numbered CP1 to CP7 for carpark, while the 8th floor is numbered as "R" for recreational facilities. Residential units start from the 9th floor, numbered as levels 1, 2, 3, 3A, 5 and so on.

In Tower 2, residential units occupy up to level 30, with duplexes on the middle floors. The tower had eight lifts; four serve the residential levels (documented here) with dual entrances (the rear door opens at level R only) and stainless steel cabs; on the left wall features a colour-lit, glass panel with an ornate frame and text showing "arte MKx" (where "x" represents the tower number: 1, 2 and 3). These had white KA117B buttons from Shanghai STEP (with braille and buttons grouped by floor), EITA's dot-matrix indicators, typical chimes and door-close beeps. One car on the right side acts as a service lift with its cabs draped in protective pads and rubber flooring, which also features a blinking internal indicator when stopping at a floor. Most floors require a keycard; B2 - B4 and CP2 - CP7 are for resident parking and are similarly restricted.

These lifts are also accessible to the public—guests who park their cars on levels B1 and CP1 are advised to use these to get to the ground-floor retail area to reach the hotel lifts (   • (R1) EITA-Schneider MR [Tower MK2 High Zon...  ) serving 31 - 66. The ride was smooth, but their speed is only 3 m/s (180 meters per minute) which is not that fast for 43 stops.
