This short 2 mile long walk starts at Thirlmere Dam and heads up to the spectacular viewpoint of Raven Crag at 461m above sea level. The view from the summit extends to the towering Helvellyn range of fells and almost a full length view down Thirlmere. Nearby is also the ancient remains of an Iron Age Hillfort on Castle Crag.
