Hi Team!!! So happy to be Back with You! As we have discussed before, Dr. Sims believes SIT can directly enhance and encourage metabolic conditioning. Not just that, but jumpstart your hormones.
She believes that if you work hard to elevate your heart rate for 30 seconds and take 2-3 minute recovery sessions (the premise is to take longer recoveries, unlike HIIT), then our bodies have that time to recover for our next interval and we are not raising our cortisol levels.
