VIDEO OVERVIEW:
This hike just about wiped Mrs. ATTA out (having had a chemo infusion just 3 days prior). Just a year ago, this hike would have been considered very easy, but today it was a struggle. We really wanted to get up into the ALPINE without having to take a long, strenuous hike. Mount Baker is one of the easiest places to achieve that goal. Driving to the Artist Point parking lot plops you right in the middle of some of the best views in the state of Washington with Mount Shuksan to the northeast and Mount Baker to the southwest.
