My first solo 50K ride is officially in the books. It’s not a huge milestone for most cyclists, but for me, it felt like a big next step in my cycling journey and a nice little personal win.
I planned it myself, fueled intentionally, had to reroute mid-ride due to flooding… but it all added up to one of my favorite rides yet.
This episode is less about racing and more about momentum. About proving to yourself that you can. If you're getting into longer rides, riding solo, or just learning how to plan better. I hope this one gives you some ideas and encouragement.
