Rounding up the lambs

The morning started with me and Swift (the border collie) gathering in a group of lambs. I was following on the Suzuki quad while Swift did a good job of going round the edge of the field and moving them up towards the farm. Once we got them back to the farmyard i put them in a holding pen. It's been very wet so they place is looking very mucky!
In the shed the lambs were weighed to pick out the ones that are heavy enough to be sold. They were split into two groups and then we moved them back out to a field.
The next morning was very misty but when i went to the top of the hill the highest point of the farm the mist was really low and it looked amazing with the hills in the background.
I got some bales of silage and dropped them off next to one of the cow sheds so they were ready for later. I also filled some bags of crushed barley to feed the cows in the different sheds they are in. I then loaded two bales of silage into the bale shredder.
The last job of the day was to take some loose silage using the quad and a small trailer to feed the Jacob tup and ewes. It was then back home to warm up.
Thanks for watching!
