Relearning Posture and Neck Stability After 20 Years of Ballet and Dancing
Meet Tamber, who has been on a 20-year-plus journey with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and joint hypermobility. Follow her inspiring journey in this powerful four-part video series. Learn how she found the right medical team, overcame pain, regained mobility, and now helps others navigate this complex condition. Watch now and discover why the most important message is: Never give up—things can get better!
In the third episode, Tamber shares how she had to completely relearn how to relax her body and retrain muscles that had been conditioned for years of ballet and dancing —muscles that were unknowingly contributing to severe neck and body pain. At one point, she was unable to turn her neck, and even simple daily tasks became a challenge.
She describes the eye-opening experience of making small but meaningful adjustments, like using a step stool instead of standing on her toes, which ultimately helped reduce pain and improve her ability to participate in daily activities.
This is the third of four videos in Tamber’s journey. Watch the full series on our YouTube channel or visit our website to learn more at https://progressiveptandrehab.com/tam...
