Wake Up the Body Practice

Mindfully Wake up your entire body with this sweet practice. We will be slowly transitioning from one yoga pose to the next to allow beginners to join in without getting too confused, and for more experienced yogis to bring presence to each breath and each movement as we flow. The use of Ujjayi breath and a little core work will help wake up the physical body and mind, and to help let go of stress or worry held throughout and expressed as dull ache. We also will be holding hip openers and twists to relieve tension and prepare the body for the day ahead.

Suggested Props: chair and blanket , option of 2 blocks. OR NO PROPS.
If your new to my classes , remember to have fun & be curious , like you've landed in the body for the first time. Have patience with yourself, if you feel something your doing it right. Once you have the just of the movement close your eyes and feel from the inside out. This is a great class to release old moving patterns that create stress and discomfort for the entire body.
