How do you truly ‘let go' and move on?

I fell in love with a man I've only met twice, and after so many years, I'm not obsessed anymore, but I still have sentimental feelings sometimes and think of him on my bad days. Does letting go equal to have 0 feelings? Is it okay that to "move on" saving a place for sb in my heart? Thx”
