this mornings breathwork is called nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. It's a yogic breathing (pranayama) technique that purifies subtle energy channels (nadis) to calm the mind, balance energy, and improve focus by alternately breathing through the left and right nostrils, using fingers to gently block them.
it helps manage stress, prepares for meditation, and is known as "channel cleansing breath," promoting harmony between brain hemispheres and supporting respiratory health by ensuring smooth, deep breaths.
