Anne Dean will delight you with her passion for owning and living in a historic Queen Anne style house. When she moved to DeLand in 1983 she soon purchased her home which was built in 1883. Anne loves history and historical preservation. She is a past president of the WVHS and served on the DeLand Preservation Board where she was instrumental in saving old buildings on Georgia Avenue, now Artisan Alley. Anne is happy to see that local history is alive and thriving in DeLand, particularly due to the interest of younger families who are buying and maintaining older homes and buildings.
