On 23 June 2025, the EFTA States and Malaysia signed an Economic Partnership Agreement (MEEPA) in Tromsø, Norway. The agreement offers opportunities for further economic cooperation and trade growth, and enables stakeholders on both sides to achieve valuable tariff savings.
In a new video series, EFTA businesses operating in Malaysia, together with economic and policy stakeholders from both Malaysia and the EFTA States, share their perspectives on the benefits of the agreement, the advantages of operating in Malaysia, and how the deal unlocks opportunities in areas such as innovation and green energy.
