A slow and deliberate unwinding session
Taking this time to settle down and deeply relax in two steps. Firstly, bringing attention to how the body feels; and secondly, zooming in and closely examining the actual sensations that are arising in our experience
1. Overview for the session
2. Getting into a comfortable posture (sitting, lying down, etc.)
3. Bringing attention to the body, and how it feels as a whole right now
4. Bringing a disposition of care and self-compassion to this experience
5. Starting with a broad view - exploring the overall tone/flavour of this experience right now - If this feels vague, or we keep drifting into thoughts, we can repeatedly scan & bring attention to specific areas (chest, stomach), and examine how they feel
6. Closely examining the physical sensations that feel prominent in our experience
7. Wrapping up the session
