Hello Lovely Singers and Happy Friday!
Something a bit different for you this week...
Ten minutes of vocal exercises to begin to warm up and stretch your voice, to prepare for singing through some repertoire. We need to warm up every time we want to sing, especially if we are recording or getting ready for a live performance. Singing with a cold voice can lead to strain or vocal injury, but it also just won't sound as good! So it's super important to take a few minutes to warm up, have a bit of a vocal stretch and move through your range.
This routine can be used daily, as a bit of a workout and to start to build strength and control. There are exercises to work through most of your range, including low and high notes, and different vocal sounds to get used to.
