Why working out on a pole is no joke! This is a serious sport, don't get blinded by cool outfits, extreme high heels and the fact that it looks easy! This a pole dancer's point of view about the struggle that is behind pole dancing, the hard work it takes and the behind the scenes you usually don't get to see. If you want to see me how I almost dislocated my shoulder - several times - then make sure you watch this video haha. This sport requires skills, constant training and a lot of willpower. This is me showing you why this sport is more than just "looking pretty". Power Spins, Iron X (flag variation), holding your entire body weight while being upside down, gravity-defying air walks, one handed spins etc. Makes me wonder why calisthenics and short outfits on a horizontal bar is more accepted than doing the same hard moves on a vertical pole in high heels (high heels = weights!).
