Recipe -
Ingredients:
FOR PREPARING PANEER PINWHEEL SAMOSA :
1. Boiled Potato / Uble Hue Aloo - 2 Peeled and grated
2. Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1/2 Cup grated
3. Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
4. Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1 to 2 Finely chopped
5. Salt - As per taste
6. Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch powder - 1 tsp
7. Coriander Powder / Dhania Powder - 1 tsp
8. Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
9. Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
10. All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 Cup
11. Carom Seeds / Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
12. Water - As required
13. Oil - As required
FOR PREPARING PANEER PINWHEEL SAMOSA CHAAT :
1. Curd / Dahi - As required
2. Sweet Chutney / Meethi Chutney - As required
3. Green Chutney / Hari Chutney - As required
4. Cucumber / Kheera - 1/2 Finely chopped
5. Tomato / Tamatar - 1/2 Finely chopped
6. Onion / Pyaz - 1/2 Finely chopped
7. Pomegranate Seeds / Anar Ke Dane - As required
8. Nylon Sev / Zero Number Sev / Bhujiya - As required
9. Namkeen Boondi - As required
10. Chaat Masala - As required
11. Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder / Bhuna Jeera Powder - As required
12. Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - For garnishing
Instructions:
FOR PREPARING PANEER PINWHEEL SAMOSA :
1. Take boiled potato in a mixing bowl. Add paneer, coriander leaves, green chilli, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, and red chilli flakes. Mix well. Keep it aside.
2. Take maida in a mixing bowl. Add salt, carom seeds, and 2 tbsp of oil. Mix well. Add water gradually to prepare medium soft dough.
3. Take a small ball sized dough and make a round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a roti. Likewise, prepare another roti.
4. Take a roti and spread the prepared paneer-potato stuffing on it. Place the other roti over it and press its edges. Slightly roll it.
5. Fold the roti from one side and prepare a tight roll like a swiss roll. Press it. Then cut the roll in small to medium size pieces. Press all pieces.
6. Meanwhile, heat oil in a Prestige honeycomb tri ply pan for shallow frying. Place prepared pinwheel samosa into the hot oil. Cover the pan and shallow fry them on low to medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Then flip them.
7. Shallow fry them on low to medium flame until they become crispy and golden brown from both sides. Once done, take them out on a plate.
FOR PREPARING PANEER PINWHEEL SAMOSA CHAAT :
1. Take the prepared paneer pinwheel samosa in a serving plate. Add curd, sweet chutney, green chutney, cucumber, tomato, onion, pomegranate, nylon sev, namkeen boondi.
2. Sprinkle chaat masala and roasted cumin seeds powder on it. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
3. 'Paneer Pinwheel Samosa Chaat' is ready to be served.
