My X-axis is, despite the general concensus not do that that, the longer axis with 1220mm of travel vs. my Y-axis with 950mm of travel. What do I do when I need to cut strut plates or anything that is longer? I make a program where I can flip over the workpiece, using two holes as mirror axis, 0/0/0 and for dowels. Works wonders. :)
