Me and Kev go head to head in what might be the toughest upper body strength challenge you can try.
It’s about pound-for-pound strength, smart pacing, and not blowing your load on the first exercise.
Everything is relative to bodyweight
THE RULES
• You have 30 minutes to complete all exercises
• Exercises must be done in order
• You can score a maximum of 20 reps per exercise
• Any reps over 20 do not count
• Your final score is out of 100
THE CHALLENGE
Bodyweight Bench Press – reps
Bodyweight Chin-Ups – reps
(Full lockout at the bottom, chin clearly over the bar)
Half-Bodyweight Overhead Press – reps
1.25 × Bodyweight Dips – reps
Half-Bodyweight Barbell Curl – reps
Add them all together to get your score
HOW DO YOU RANK?
• 0–10 – Low man on the totem pole
• 10–20 – Skinny man or man boobs
• 20–30 – Average man
• 30–40 – Wing man
• 40–50 – Door man
• 50–60 – Athletic man
• 60–70 – He-Man
• 70–80 – Super Man
• 80–90 – Mega Man
• 90–100 – Man of War
