This video is about why fitness will not fix your life and how it takes more than just getting in shape to improve your current situation. In previous videos I emphasized the importance of focusing on your fitness goals when life gets hard. I often talk about how getting a great body will help you improve in other areas of life, however I want to provide some context.
Building muscle, losing fat, getting six pack abs, lifting heavier weights, performing and feeling better physically and achieving the most aesthetic physique possible are all worthwhile goals. However, fitness by itself will not fix your life. There will come a time when you have to focus on other aspects. Whether it's learning new skills, progressing in your career, nurturing relationships or taking care of your mental health, there are many ways to improve your life outside of the gym and bodybuilding lifestyle.
Although building your body is one of the best ways to transform your life, doing so does not guarantee that your life will improve automatically. It requires intentional effort and applying your discipline, mindset, work ethic and skills to bettering your life in other ways.
