Forward head posture happens when your head sits in front of your shoulders instead of stacked over them. It’s extremely common, especially if you spend time on your phone, laptop, or sitting for long periods.
Over time, this position shortens the muscles at the front of your neck and chest while overworking the muscles in your upper back and shoulders.
Forward head posture can contribute to:
Neck and shoulder tension
Upper back stiffness
Headaches
This gentle stretch routine focuses on:
Lengthening tight chest and neck muscles
Improving upper-back and thoracic mobility
Encouraging a more upright, relaxed posture
Equipment needed: Small towel and yoga block (or pillow)
