Riding the old-school hand cut trails at Maple Hill Park in Hibbing, Minnesota! These trails are among some of the oldest on the Mesabi Iron Range along with Lookout Mountain and are the original trails in the Hibbing-Chisholm area before the great trails at Redhead MTB Park were built a few years ago. I had never heard of or seen any footage of these trails before I moved here, and knew they needed some exposure after realizing how fun they are after a couple rides here. The trails are all hand cut & most are multi-directional, and fun to ride on a short travel bike. Even with the amazing trails at Tioga and Redhead nearby, I still make it out here a few times a year. I was talking to a local named Brock who said his dad did a lot of work building Maple Hill Park back in the day so shout out to Brock's dad and anyone else who helped build at Maple Hill Park for these sweet hand cut XC trails!
