Exclusive Tour of Ultra Rare 3-Michelin-Star Kitchen

We went behind the scenes and got the first ever kitchen tour of Chef Cheung's 3-Michelin-Star Restaurant in Beijing, China. Mainland China has a total of three, 3-Michelin-Starred Restaurants. 1 in Shanghai and 2 in Beijing. Chef Cheung's Restaurant, Chao Shang Chao, is 1 of those 3 rare restaurants.

Chef Cheung was raised in Hong Kong, and along his journey as a Chef, worked in restaurants in Shanghai and Beijing. He cooks Teochew cuisine at his restaurant, which is the cuisine of the Chaoshan region in Eastern Guangdong, China. The Chaoshan region has its own distinct people, culture, and language, which is not mutually intelligible with Mandarin or Cantonese. Needless to say, it has its own cuisine as well.
