Bandung | A Little Escape from Jakarta, Food & Coffee.

In the early morning, I take a short trip from Jakarta to Bandung — a simple escape that begins with a nostalgic breakfast at Warung Kopi Purnama. After that, I make my way to Blue Doors Coffee, a quiet and cozy corner perfect for a slow mid-morning break, before taking an easy stroll through the charming Braga area with its old streets, small shops, and familiar Bandung character.

As the day opens up, I hop on the Bandros to circle the city and take in Bandung’s iconic sights. For lunch, I stop at Fork to try their grilled, then continue the food trail with a comforting bowl of Bakmie Tjo Kin. As the afternoon softens, I settle at Tanatap Coffee for a slow cup before ending the evening at Rui, enjoying their flavorful hikiniku for dinner.
