Cucumber Salad with Dill and Yoghurt - easy salad recipes

Recipe for 2 big / 4 small servings

Ingredients:
1x Cucumber (480g)
1 tsp Salt (6g)
8 twigs Dill, fresh (12g)
1 tsp Mustard (10g)
2 Tbsp Vinegar (13g)
4 Tbsp Yoghurt (140g)
Pinch Pepper, black

Preparation method:
Wash the cucumber and cut off a little bit on the top and the bottom and slice it with a slicer.
Mix the sliced cucumbers with 1 tsp of salt, use your hands for mixing.
Chop the dill finely and mix it with 1 tsp of mustard, 2 Tbsp of vinegar, 4 Tbsp of yoghurt and some freshly ground black pepper in a small bowl.
Press out the water of the cucumber with one hand in the bowl and pour it off.
Add the dressing, mix well and serve.

Notice:
Add the dressing shortly before serving the salad. If you want to prepare the salad in advance, remove the water from the cucumbers again before mixing with the dressing.
You may leave the dill out or you can also use dried dill.
The yoghurt can be replaced with cream, sour cream or crème fraiche.

Very easy and quick cucumber salad which goes very well with grilled or fried fish or meat of course.

Start to Finish: 30min

Shelf life:
You can keep this cucumber salad for 1-2 days in the fridge.
However, the dressing will become very watery because the cucumbers will lose more water.
