Finally got around editing this video. Lots of people ask me about the history of the Macebell or Gada. I've been on a path for eight years now to learn and understand more about the steel mace and how the movement started. When I started a lot of people had no idea of its origin or inspiration. Luckily I saw an older obscure video about India and the Gada and I decided that I wanted to know more. In this video I'll some of the things I've encountered related to the history of the Gada, and when I, the flowing dutchman, swung it first. Important to note that I had already swung a macebell before I got to India, but the technique of a Gada is different. I'll tell you all about it while I'm walking through beautiful Amsterdam.
