Cabbage Rolls | ගෝවා රෝල්ස් | Cabbage recipe ( with English Subtitles)

Let’s make a healthy cabbage roll.
If you are on a diet, this is a perfect choice for you.
Ingredients :-
• 1 large head of cabbage
• 200g of grated carrot
• 150g – 200g of salmon/tuna/fish/chicken
• 150g of boiled potato
• 1 medium size onion
• 1 sprig of curry leaves (chopped finely)
• 2 green chillies (finely sliced or chopped)
• Chopped ginger and garlic
• Pinch of salt
• White pepper/black pepper
• 2 tbsp of olive oil if you need to temper the mixture
Instructions:-
1. Gently remove the cabbage leaves from cabbage and boil the leaves in salt water for 10 -15 minutes.
2. Smash the potatoes and add salt, pepper and chillie powder.
3. Add the minced tuna/salmon/chicken or fish.
4. Add the grated carrot
5. Add oil to a pan add onion, garlic, ginger, green chille, curry leaves and temper well.
6. Add potato carrot and salmon to the mixture.
***** you can mix everything well and use the filling without tempering as well.
7. Remove the core of the boiled cabbage leaves with a small knife.
8. Keep an adequate amount of filling on the edge of the cauliflower leaf.
9. Roll the leaf and prepare the rolls.
10. Fry the rolls on a pan.You can add chillie or tomato sauce if you prefer.
11. If you don’t like to fry bake them in oven. (200oC – 15-20 minutes) (The time taken to bake depends on the type of your oven)
12. Preheat oven to 350° F.
