With the year rapidly coming to an end and Christmas literally just around the corner. I wanted to get into the festive feels and go out and see the Polar Express on the Mid-Norfolk Railway. A family event that has ran successfully for years at the railway.
Seen at Yaxham on its outbound run with the service only reaching a mere 15mph to lengthen out the experience. After catching it up at the North Pole, Sorry Thuxton, then seeing it run up to turn back towards Grand Rapids (Dereham) before calling it a night.
Two diesels would head the set made up of 10 ex-GA Mk3's, 33202 usually has always been on the north end of the set with one of the 47's on the south facing, tonight being D1933.
