This is it, my last steam locomotive capture of 2025 and I wanted it to be a good one!
The Norfolk Lights Express is a colourful train that runs on the North Norfolk Railway during November and December and this year I was hoping to go out and see it externally unlike last year where I was on it.
WD 2-10-0 90775 was the loco hauling the set in the evening I went and it was lovely to experience steam in the dark. First up we see it climb Kelling Bank after a slow crawl through Weybourne on the 5pm departure from Sheringham. Second up, seeing it at Sheringham running around and ultimately departing on the 7:30pm departure.
With that, this will be my last video before Christmas. So I hope everyone watching has a Merry Christmas. Two more videos to go before the end of the year!
Please note that the first clip at Kelling Bank, the floodlights under the Mk1's begin to flash (1:55 in the video), feel free to skip that if would like to avoid flashing lights, I have put a warning just before they start in the video too.
