Recorded at W.A.R. Studio (is short for "Wieser Alex Records") in Finland. Hrefnesvinter is a remastered version made in 2001, the rest from 2002-2004, Trollsturm is remastered version too, Zwei Raben is a rehearsal track and Erinnerung a new track for the compilation. Produced on CD-R in DVD case by Smell The Stench the same year. Five years later, there is a one-off self-released edition by Hugin on his W.A.R. Productions label that was made especially for a fan and includes a previously unreleased rehearsal track recorded in 2009 as a bonus track called Der Berg.

Hrefnesholt is a project by Finnish-Austrian musician Alexander Wieser as Hugin, known for his many dark and experimental ambient projects. Neo-Folk has always been a major inspiration for this artist, especially in this project.
