This is part 2 of a video series that describes the production of a custom guitar rosettes. Thin slices of a variety of woods were cut on the band saw. 15 layers of the thin wood strips were arranged into a pattern and glued together to produce a multi-layer laminate boards. From these laminate boards 48 wedges were again sliced on the band saw using the Accu-Wedge system . A thin ebony spacers were inserted between each of the wedges and the wedges and spacers wee glued into a ring to produce 6.0" diameter segmented discs. From these segmented discs 0.070" thick discs were sliced on the band saw to produce the custom guitar rosettes.
