This was my first full firing in Blaze my new kiln back in October, but I had to delay posting due to these being Christmas Gifts. A wonderful commission order which I don't mind admitting caused considerable stress trying to do the best I possible could. Hopefully everyone loves their gifts.
Was wonderful to get to fire the last two large platters from the 5 piece set using the Hartley & Noble new stacker system. So easy to use, and love the consistency of the set. This set will now be heading to Hartley and Noble for the product launch, especially when Nicky chose the glaze combo herself. Nice choice Nicky!
Apologies for the inconsistent lighting - the sun kept shining through the windows of the lower studio and my camera kept trying to adjust! Not sure yet with the larger firings in Blaze but I may return to just one camera...I'll have a go and get your feedback. All feels rather foreign in a new location and taking time to get used to.
The refire bowl with snow inside was not showing on camera how interesting the interior was - hopefully this will show up better on my Instagram posts when taken in the sunshine.
