This is a 60 minute vinyasa to yin yoga practice. Part 11 of the Vin to Yin series of classes. This practice combines 30 minutes of a slow flow vinyasa practice followed by 30 minutes of hip focused Yin yoga and is inspired by the concept of Isvara Pranidhana. One of the 5 Niyamas of Patanjali's yoga sutras meaning devotion or surrender. A class that is particularly helpful during stressful times, helping you to dedicate your practice to what you believe in and let go of resistance.
For the Yin portion of class, you may wish to have some props for support and comfort: 1-2 blankets, 1-2 Blocks, optional bolster or couch cushion.
