On the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this is a night of astrophotography capturing the Witch Head nebula, and two other extremely low deep-sky-objects over the dark, dark ocean horizon (Omega Centauri globular cluster & Centaurus A galaxy). A local landmark bell tower marked the cliff-top site which brought me loud and silly entertainment. The clear Bortle class 4 skies of Chiba prefecture made for superb imaging. This remote area east of Tokyo is a favorite imaging location of mine despite the hiking challenge to access it on foot.
