On October 3rd, I heard that Union Pacific's Western Pacific heritage unit was coming through Columbus on NS 170. I have never gotten the chance to see a UP heritage unit, so when it still hadn't passed through after work, I headed over to catch it in Worthington. They had some delays, and while waiting I got to see two trains on CSX's usually quiet Burt Line. Finally, as 170 cleared, another westbound NS train was closing in and overtaking. It was a good evening to be trackside!
