Fishermans Trail is a great local hike in Kitimat, British Columbia, up in the Pacific North West, where the trail head starts right in town and takes you up the Kitimat River through the forest to a nice sandy bend in the river that is known as CoHo flats. The trail has had a few of the bridges recently redone, which makes the water crossings alot nicer. Lots of old big trees, and copious amounts of greenery through the forest. This is an easy hike that you could do with the family. From there you could take a side trail to the back end of the golf course, or you could head up coho flats trail and come out on the towns streets.
