Robinson Ridge Trail is a hiking trail in kitimat BC that leads you up a mountain to a nice little cabin on an alpine Lake. 4 wheel drive, that you don't mind a few scratches on to get you up to the trail head. From there the hike goes up, but with lots of flat landings and meadows to to break it up. 5 -6 hours to total time hiking. The cabin up by the lake is very nice and well kept.
Bugs were bad in mid july when i did this hike. The trail is very well marked, however it is overgrown in many places. Some some signs of wildlife, moose tracks, bear crap, never ran into any of them though. not sure if that was good or bad. This would be a fantastic trail to hike up and spend the night in the cabin on top of the mountain. I'm sure if you picked a clear evening the stars would be amazing.
