Zurg Suite | Lightyear (Original Soundtrack) by Michael Giacchino

After being severely underwhelmed by Giacchino's score for Jurassic World: Dominion, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of his soundtrack for Lightyear. One of the most surprising, if not THE most surprising theme, was the theme he composed for Zurg. A militant, dreadful march that's almost always performed by a loud, grand male choir and surrounded by military percussion and screeching strings. The theme is so distinct and memorable, sneaking up and blasting when least expected, and perfectly captures the might and power of the robotic warlord and his place in the story.
