Traffic Lights Before Upgrade Near Railroad Crossing | 10 Mile & Sherwood Ave

This video documents the final Before Upgrade stage at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Sherwood Avenue in Center Line, Michigan. The footage captures a unique mix of active vintage hardware and the newly installed, yet to be activated signals.

The traffic is still being controlled by the classic 2 incandescent 12-inch 4-way LFE clusters hanging on the traditional wire span.
Near the tracks, 2 new black 12-inch MoboTrex LED heads with backplates are already in service on a new black mast arm, currently wired up to the older power source to maintain safety at the crossing.
The new black mast arms are up at the main intersection, holding 6 black 12-inch MoboTrex LED heads with backplates and 3 black 4-section MoboTrex heads with backplates.
One mast arm is currently missing its signals, specifically a 4-section head and 2 12-inch Econolite LED heads with backplates that are waiting to be mounted.
All the new heads at the main intersection are currently turned facing away from traffic.
There are 4 new Countdown Pedestrian Signals installed but facing away, with 4 more CPS units waiting to be installed.
