This video features an Alstom Movia R151, 839/840, which is from BSD to serve NSL for the PM Rush Hours, from NS27 Marina Bay to NS24 Dhoby Ghaut.
Finally after almost 1 year (4/6/2023) since the R151 debuted on the East-West Line with 825/826, a R151 have made its highly anticipated debut on the North-South Line, and so happened that the 1st R151 to open its door for passenger service on NSL was 839/840, which was seen testing on NSL during the daytime last weekend.
And what was even better was that, it landed on a PM slot from BSD which allows the train to do the Last Train to Kranji Tonight and overnight there! First debut run on NSL and its already doing one of the last train slots...
With that, now all of the R151s that do Ulu Pandan Depot from EWL will finally have a chance to do NSL, without being restricted to just EWL!
