Kilmer Sports Ventures is a new division of the Toronto-based private equity firm Kilmer Group that focuses on investment opportunities in the world of sport and entertainment.
It is owned by Larry Tanenbaum, chairman and chief executive of Kilmer Group and chair of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, with Ivan Gazidis, the former chief executive of major European soccer clubs AC Milan and Arsenal, currently heading up Kilmer Sports Ventures as President.
Gazidis joined Leaders on-stage alongside Huss Fahmy, EVP of Football and Teresa Resch, EVP, to explain how they're working together to manage a portfolio of teams – from Toronto’s new WNBA franchise to Ligue 1’s AS Saint-Étienne.
