On 26th January, 1986, the National Resistance Movement came to power following the capture of Kampala by the National Resistance Army. This became a landmark in the history of Uganda especially the NRM calendar and one of the core programs that was set up was the 10 point program that was used to set an agenda for the Country.
However according to political analysts, corruption has been one of the major factors that has derailed this program.
