About this recipe :
Beef bone soup is a healthy and nourishing soup that helps improve energy and body strength. Slow-cooked beef bones release natural nutrients into the soup, making it easy to digest and comforting for the body. It is especially helpful during weakness, tiredness, or recovery after illness.
This soup supports joint health, digestion, and immunity. Its warm nature improves circulation and helps the body feel relaxed and strong. Because it is light yet nutritious, beef bone soup is often preferred by elderly people, workers, and anyone needing strength and recovery.
*Ingredients/सामग्री :
For Bone Soup
Bones – 1 kg
Onion – 3 medium
Tomato – 1
Bay leaves – 2
Black cardamom – 1
Star anise – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 tablespoon
Coriander seeds – 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon – 1 piece
Cloves – 4
Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Green chilli paste – 2 tablespoons
Salt – according to taste
Black pepper powder – 1 tablespoon
Green coriander – 20 grams
Water – 2 large cups (maximum 1.5 liters)
For Tadka
Oil – 3 tablespoons
Dry fenugreek leaves – 3 pinches
Dry red chilies – 2
Green coriander
Green chilies – 2
For Garnish
Onion
Lemon
Coriander
recipe:
Wash the bones thoroughly with clean water.
Add the bones, onions, tomato, all whole spices, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt, black pepper powder, and water to a pressure cooker.
Mix everything well and cook on low flame for about 20 minutes.
Separately, heat oil in a small pan and prepare the tadka using dry fenugreek leaves, dry red chilies, and green chilies.
Lower the heat of the cooker, carefully open it, and add the prepared tadka to the soup.
Let the soup simmer on low flame for a few more minutes.
Garnish with onion, lemon, and fresh coriander before serving.
This bone soup is special because it is slow-cooked on low heat, which helps extract deep flavor and natural goodness from the bones. The combination of whole spices like star anise, black cardamom, and cinnamon gives it a rich, warming aroma without making it heavy.
What makes it unique is the hot tadka added at the end—the sizzling oil infused with dry methi and chilies instantly lifts the soup’s taste and fragrance. Finally, the fresh garnish of onion, lemon, and coriander adds brightness and balance, making the soup light, comforting, and deeply satisfying.
