00:12 - After allowing to dry completely the glue applied to reinforce the wood, proceed with the finishing of the F-hole walls which will be slightly swollen by the absorption of the glue.
Make sure that the central part of the stems is wide enough to allow the soundpost to get through them easily, expecting a maximum soundpost diameter of 6.3 / 6.4 mm.

00:32 - Use specially made sandpaper files with the appropriate shapes and curves : apply the sandpaper (grit 320) with double-sided adhesive tape to one side of the files only, to avoid accidentally filing the opposite wall in the narrower spaces, with exclusion of the two round files for finishing the eyes wich must be completely wrapped with sandpaper.

06:48 - After the finishing with sandpaper files, proceed with the cutting of the notches, carefully paying attention to the position of the inner ones that will serve as a reference for the position of the bridge. For aesthetic reasons it is desirable that the inner notches are equidistant from the apex of the wings, while the external ones will be positioned on the arc of a circle with its center at the apex of the lower wing.

07:08 - Trace a line at the stop lenght that will serve as a reference for the precise position of the apex of the internal notches, verifying that the measurement is correct (195 mm at the side of the neck, 196 mm on the centerline). Start with a central cut at this line, then open the notch by first creating a V shape, gradually removing the edges to round the curves ; the tip of the notch must always be well defined, ending with a single cut.
