☕️ Dalgona Coffee – Two Ways!
I tested both versions: the classic one made with instant coffee, and a twist using espresso.
Here’s what I learned ⬇️

👉 ESPRESSO VERSION:
• 1 shot of fresh, hot espresso
• 2–3 tbsp sugar (I used powdered sugar—it helps the foam form better)
Whip for 2–3 minutes until it thickens and changes color.
It won’t get super fluffy, but still gives a nice light foam.
💡 To improve texture, try adding:
– a little egg white
– a pinch of cream of tartar
– or a bit of instant coffee powder
🥛 Latte base:
• 200 ml hot or cold milk

👉 CLASSIC VERSION (with instant coffee):
• 1 tbsp instant coffee
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp hot water
Whip until fluffy and light.
This version gives the best foam—just like the viral Dalgona texture!

Dalgona coffee went viral in 2020, inspired by a Korean candy.
It became a cozy little ritual during lockdown—made with just 3 simple ingredients.

I tested both the instant coffee version and the espresso version — and guess what?
Only one whipped up perfectly.
The other… looked great, but totally failed to foam.
☕️ So here’s the big mistake:
Espresso doesn’t whip like instant coffee.
Don’t waste your good beans like I did 😅
Both recipes use just 3 ingredients, but only one gives you that iconic creamy dalgona top.
