In this week's training video I am sharing some content from our in-person CEU course, specifically going over the common entrapment of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞.
The spinal accessory nerve is a structure that runs from behind the ear down the neck and through the trapezius, rhomboids & levator scapulae muscles [think the spot you rub as you sit at your desk]. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴, 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘬.

𝘕𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

𝘛𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘔𝘪𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴.
In the video I go over the following:
1. Anatomy & function of the nerve.
2. Injuries and symptoms that present from nerve entrapments.
3. Advance & detailed palpation.
4. Treatment of the Accessory Nerve using #ManualScarTissueTreatment.
