This is a very beginner step workout. It's designed for people who are just getting in to exercise, or who want to get back into exercising after a significant break.
We start with a long warm up on the floor that consists of marching in place, marching with the feet in a wide stance, step-touches, and hamstring curls. Once we start the step portion, we keep the intensity controlled by taking active marching breaks on the floor between each step segment.
After we learn and practice all three step combinations, a standing cooldown and stretching wrap up the workout.
Please share this with anyone who needs a very basic, gentle workout. Completing the workout on the floor without a step is a great way to learn the steps and build up your endurance for this type of exercise. Feel free to take extra breaks and don't forget to drink plenty of water!
