This 60-minute gentle Chair Yoga class focuses on increasing flexibility and mobility, especially through the inner thighs, hips, and adductor muscles. Using wide-legged stances and supportive postures, we loosen tight areas that help you move more freely in everyday activities like walking, side-stepping, and bending.
In addition to hip and inner-thigh stretches, we’ll also open the shoulders, lengthen the side body, and release tension in the shins and calves for a balanced full-body stretch. This class is perfect for improving comfort, mobility, and ease of movement from head to toe.
Most of the class is seated, with about 15–20 minutes of supported standing poses to help improve strength, balance, and confidence. No yoga mat needed—just a sturdy chair and a willingness to move, breathe, and feel good.
What is Chair Yoga?
Chair Yoga is a gentle style of yoga done while sitting and standing with the support of a chair. Each class begins with breathwork and warm-up stretches, progresses into modified standing poses, and ends with a calming Seated Savasana to help you unwind and restore.
