There are 4 positions to do in a safe corner of the home. Have a person spotting you if you tend to lean or fall forward. Position 1. Feet are together on the floor with your eyes open. Position 2. Feet are together on the floor with your eyes closed. Position 3. Feet are together on a balance pad or similar with your eyes open. Position4. Feet are together on a balance pad or similar with your eyes closed. The goal: do each one for 30 seconds without leaning or a loss of balance. Remember: a vertigo diagnosis (BPPV) and treatments both require a skilled, experienced professional such a an occupational therapist, physical therapist, physician or other specialist.
