MIDI to TRS adapter with A/B type switch

How to wire a MIDI to TRS adapter - with an added bonus of making an A to B type switch converter. Shows diagrams, tutorial on how wire and solder the cable and plugs. Ther's also demonstration on proof of concept and working with Korg Electribe 2 Sampler and Novation Circuit using Arturia KeyStep MIDI controller.

MIDI to TRS type A wiring is used by Akai, Korg, IK Multimedia and Make Noise. MIDI to TRS type B is used by Arturia and Novation. More information can be found on the respective manufacturer's websites and the standard is located here:
